- Chief Executive Officer -

Ian holds a masters degree in electronic and computer engineering, and is a registered professional engineer.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the development and deployment of enterprise communication, contact centre, customer engagement and collaboration solutions and technology.

With a clear understanding of the past, current and emerging future technologies and trends, he is well positioned to implement the best-of-breed and best-of-suite solutions for small and large enterprises.

His leadership of this progressive company and his value to the business is reinforced by his unequalled experience and knowledge of the industry.

- Chief Information Officer -

Henning is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Elingo’s Technical Division and is a seasoned professional with plenty of experience. He has been involved in computer telephony integration and call centre technology since 1997, and was involved in numerous integrations to CRM/CSS/ERP systems. He was contracted to the team that was responsible to develop the telephone banking at ABSA onto a new platform and spent a few years on this project, ensuring it was as robust as it was reliable.

Henning is a highly qualified, multi-skilled practitioner and has done extensive work on the locally developed point of sale software ActiveRetail used by large retailers including Foschini, Cashbuild an Incredible Connection. He was also at the forefront of the integration of the solution into various ERP systems.

Henning qualified with a B.Com degree in Informatics from the University of Pretoria and his talent lies in his ability to craft ingenious and appropriate solutions to client problems. He enjoys working with people and focuses on building trust and strong relationships. He started working with Elingo in 2001 and is one of our leading team players.


- Chief Technology Officer -

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Elingo’s Technical Division, Johan has an impressive and extensive skills portfolio across a number of disciplines. These include networking, systems administration, application development and virtualization.

Over the years Johan used his knowledge and practical experience to help countless call centers achieve efficiency and business goals. He was a fundamental part of the team who helped to build MiWay from the ground up with the Interaction Centre Product from Interactive Intelligence. He used his knowledge of installation, configuration and support for computer telephony to ensure every detail was attended to.

Johan has been working on these products for more than 20 years and his technical background is one of his strong points. He is a firm believer in leading by example and ensures that his teams learn from him as he coaches and mentors them throughout their careers. Johan empowers his team and, no matter what the challenge or situation, he will make sure it works by thinking on his feet, relating to people and encouraging his people.
